The N1032A single-channel optical module of Keysight Technologies is a high-performance optical signal test module, mainly used for the acquisition and analysis of high-speed optical communication signals, especially suitable for optical measurement scenarios with high bandwidth and high precision.

A 90 GHz (standard) /120 GHz (optional) optical channel
Jitter is as low as 90 fs
It is ideal for analyzing 112 GBd (224 Gbps) optical signals or any ultra-wide optical receiver requiring a bandwidth of 65 GHz (-3 dBo)
Impulse response correction (optional IRC) is a standard feature, and hardware filters for standard-based rates are optional
Protect your investment: It can be used in conjunction with the N1000A (250 kSa/s sampling rate) and 86100D (40 kSa/s sampling rate) hosts
Ultra-high bandwidth and sampling rate
Bandwidth: Supports 120 GHz optical bandwidth (depending on configuration), capable of precisely capturing ultra-high-speed optical signals (such as NRZ/PAM4).
Sampling rate: The real-time sampling rate is as high as 256 GSa/s, ensuring high-resolution waveform acquisition.
Single-channel high-performance design
Optimized for high-sensitivity measurement, it is suitable for analyzing single-channel high-speed optical signals (such as transmitter Tx testing or long-distance optical link diagnosis).
Integrated low-noise photodetector (PD) or optional coherent receiver, compatible with different modulation formats.
Low noise and high dynamic range
Low background noise: Optimize the signal path design to reduce measurement errors and be suitable for low-power signals (such as -20 dBm).
High linearity: Supports high power input (up to +10 dBm) to avoid signal saturation.
Support multiple modulation formats

 

Compatible with modulation methods such as NRZ, PAM4, QPSK, and 16-QAM, and covering mainstream optical communication standards (such as IEEE 802.3bs/cd, OTU4).
